I live closer to another library -- can I check out books there? | |
|---|---|---|
The TCC Library System: As a student at TCC, you may check out books from all of the TCC libraries. If a book is not at the campus you prefer, you may request that book to be sent to your campus from the library that does have a copy. A card is available at the library's Circulation Desk to request the item. Non-TCC Institutions: You may also check out materials from other academic and public libraries in Texas using a TexShare Card, which can be obtained from the Circulation Desk at your TCC Campus Library. The TexShare Library Card program provides free borrowing privileges to faculty, students, and staff of Texas colleges and universities. A TexShare card entitles you only to the privileges authorized by the lending library and is not transferable. You must be a currently enrolled TCC student of good standing. TexShare Cards are valid for the current semester only and must be renewed each semester. We have links to many local Public and Academic Libraries on our Web site. Go to the TCC Library Home Page and select Other Area Libraries. |
